4-7 Rayner-Tunstall wedding

Marcie Susanne Rayner of Frankston and formerly of Palestine and Wesley Canon Tunstall of Palestine were married March 29 at Elmwood Gardens of Palestine.

The Rev. Daniel Gold of Palestine read vows under a gazebo decorated with two glass vases filled with green apples toped with mixed floral of Belles of Ireland, larkspur, pink roses, green hydrangea, spider mums, tulips, lilies, Kermit poms and green orchids.

Father of the bride is David T. Rayner, III of Palestine and parents of the groom are Tana Tunstall and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Tunstall all of Palestine.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless taffeta A-line dress with beaded shirred bodice and a pick up skirt.

The bride carried a bouquet of soft pink and ivory roses, pale green hydrangeas a toped with a rhinestone T and hand-tied with ivory lace from the bride’s mother’s wedding dress.

Attending the bride was maid of honor, Jaclyn Leigh McMinn, college roommate of the bride, of Mesquite.

Bridesmaids were Ashley Michelle Rayner of Tyler; Holly Maberry Johnson of Shreveport, La.; Ashlee Marie Branch, Christina Lynn McClendon, Nicole Renee Herring and Charlie Nicole Yaunk, all of Palestine.

Attendants wore chocolate strapless, flat taffeta dresses with a bubble hem and coordinating sash.

They carried bouquets of hot pink roses, green hydrangea, Kermit poms and green orchids hand-tied with chocolate ribbon.

Flower girl was Caitlyn Claire Herring of Palestine.

Best man was William Cody Tunstall, brother of the groom, of Palestine.

Groomsmen were: Jason Matthew Boyd of Southfork, Colo..; Gregory Scott Moore, David T. Rayner, IV; Alex Taylor Smith; Ty Colt Tunstall and Taner Chase Tunstall, all of Palestine.

Ushers were Billy Wade Rogers of Pert, Nicholas Shane Tubbs of Montalba and Alfred Ray Culberson Jr. of Neches.

Providing music was soloist and guitarist Alex Smith of Palestine. He performed a song written by Alex Smith and Cody Tunstall, brother of the groom.

A reception hosted by the bride’s father was held at Elmwood Gardens.

House party members included Courtney Kenner Wilson, longtime friend of the bride, Jeri Lynn Cleveland, friend of the bride, Jenna Lepak and Kimberly Hajovsky, cousins of the bride.

Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Frankston on Lake Palestine.

The bride is a 2005 graduate from University of Texas in Tyler with a bachelor degree in Nursing and is employed at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler in Labor and Delivery.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Universal Technical Institute with a platinum certification of ICAR and currently employed at L&P Paint and Body.
