10-16-11: Lambright-Howell wedding

PALESTINE — Shelby Dianne Lambright of Palestine and Jeffrey Brian Howell of Palestine were married July 9 at First Christian Church of Palestine.

The Rev. Rick Dees of Palestine read vows before an altar decorated with two round arrangements of a array of purple flowers including: mokara orchids, hydrangeas, lisianthus and stock along with kale and ornamental cabbage. The arrangements sat a top tall cylinder vases filled with curly willow and mokara orchids. The pews were lined with cylinders filled with purple orchids submerged in water.

Parents of the bride are Shelby and Wanda Lambright.

Parents of the groom are John and Phyllis Howell of Palestine.

Grandparents of the bride are Billy and Ovie Lambright, William Hughes, Marlys Lively, and Kathryn Sustaita.

Grandparents of the groom are Wilburn and Marye Howell, Anne Brown, and Bill and Joyce Miller.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a ivory Lazaro gown. The fitted gown was fashioned with a strapless, sweetheart neckline, low back, droped waist and a chapel length train. The dress was embellished with floral beading and embroidery.

The bride carried a vibrant array of purple flowers including: hydrangeas, tulips, lisianthus, stock, paphiopedium orchids, and for contrast white cymbidium orchids arranged in a dome style. It was hand-tied and finished with a satin French braid wrap and accented with crystal pins.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was Kassi Brooks, sister of the bride of Tyler

Bridesmaids were: Cassie Huddleston of Conway, Ark., Jamie Weaver of Palestine and Sarah Blair of Flower Mound.

Attendants wore J. Crew, floor-length, graphite silk chiffon dresses. They had a twisted bodice and a softly pleated empire waist.

They carried rounded bouquets of purple hydrangea, purple lisianthus and three shades of purple stock.

Flower girl was Adelyn Garcia, cousin of the bride.

Ring Bearer was Armando Garcia, cousin of the bride.

Best Man was Jonathan Howell, brother of the groom, of College Station.

Groomsmen were: Thomas Woody of Palestine, Jerrod Hicks of Burleson, and Rodney Hardin of Palestine.

Ushers were Daniel Barnett of Canton, Zach Smith of Dallas and Cason Davis of Pearland.

Junior Ushers were Caden LaFontaine and Colyer LaFontaine, cousins of the bride, of Palestine.

House party members included Savannah Thornton, Kaysie Woody, Kathleen Rainer, Kayla Newsome, all of Palestine, and Valerie Howell of College Station.

Providing music was a violinist and harpist by Colore Ensemble of Tyler. Providing flowers was Lindsey Coker featured at Petals.

A reception hosted by the bride’s parents was held at Bella Sera Ranch of Palestine.

Following a wedding trip to Punta Cana, the couple resides in Round Rock.

The bride is student at Texas A&M University.

The groom is a graduate of Texas A & M University and is employed at charter builders.
