Aug. 3, 2013 Lasiter-Elmore Wedding

Jackie Lasiter of Palestine and Lance Elmore of Longview were married June 29 at The Museum of East Texas Culture of Palestine.

The Rev. Robert Allen of Pilot Point read vows before an altar on the stage that was lined with ferns. A white colonnade was placed on the stage that was flourished with fuchsia, white and purple rose petals.

Parents of the bride are Billie and Dan Dyer of Palestine and Malvin Dunn of Wharton and parents of the groom are Rikki and Lonnie Elmore of Longview.

Escorted by her stepfather and her father the bride wore a princess style gown with beaded pearls and a long flowing train.

The bride carried a bouquet of fuchsia, purple and white flowers a mixture sprayed with glitter made by Unique Boutique.

Attending the bride was Anita Murphy of Palestine.

Bridesmaids were: Tina Mares-Lovelady of Frankston; Leslie Sanders of Palestine; Katie Christian of Kyle and Shayna Elmore of Longview.

Attendants wore cocktail length, strapless gowns of fuchsia chiffon.

They carried bouquets of white roses with splashes of jewels and glitter with pink and purple petals.

Flower girls were Kilee Lasiter of Palestine and Maddison Perry of Palestine.

Ring bearer was Logan Dunn of Palestine.

Candle lighters were Billie Dyer and Rikki Elmore.

Best man was James Sanders, best friend of the groom, of Palestine.

Groomsmen were: B.J. Perry of Palestine; Nick Curry of Palestine; Ken Elmore of Hallsville and Sam Elmore of Palestine.

Ushers were B.J. Perry and Sam Elmore both of Palestine.

Providing music was Nick Curry of Palestine and Justin Richers of Georgetown.

A reception hosted by the parents of the bride and groom was held at The Museum of East Texas Culture.

Following a wedding trip to Oceanside, Calif., the couple will reside in Palestine.

The bride is manager at Gerry Red, Inc.

The groom is a mechanic at McCurdy Services.
