White-Facio wedding

— Codye Lyn White and Francisco Javier Facio of Palestine were married Nov. 6 at Sabor a Pasion of Palestine.

John Marcum of Tennessee Colony read vows during an evening outdoor ceremony under an arch of green vine, deep red roses and white lights, with two lit candelabras on each side.

Parents of the bride are Gaye and Jerry Karriker and Coy and Donna White, all of Palestine; and parents of the groom are Pedro and Angelina Facio of Groveton.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white A-line gown with all over beaded corded lace with a chapel length train. The gown had a corset back and was accented with a silk belt that was embellished with pearls and crystals. The bride finished off the look with a fingertip veil that had matching scattered pearls and a pearl and crystal headband.

The bride’s bouquet was of deep red roses and lapis gerbera daisies that were embellished with crystals and hand tied sheer lapis ribbon.

Attending the bride was matron of honor, Rachel Brock, sister of the bride, of Tennessee Colony.

Bridesmaids were Kristina Hardy, longtime friend of the bride, of Tennessee Colony and Gina Facio, sister of the groom of Groveton.

Attendants wore floor length, strapless satin gowns with a sweetheart neckline of lapis.

They carried bouquets of lapis, deep red and golden gerbera daisies with hand tied sheer lapis ribbon.

Flower girl was Brayden Gruetzner, niece of the bride, of Tennessee Colony.

Ring bearer was Johnny Facio, nephew of the groom, of Groveton.

Best man was Freddie Facio, brother of the groom, of Groveton.

Groomsmen were Charlie Facio, brother of the groom and Junior Drinkard, cousin of the groom, both of Groveton.

Ushers were J.R. Karriker, brother of the bride, of Palestine and Jimmy Brock, brother-in-law of the bride, of Tennessee Colony.

Guest enjoyed a reception of a three course gourmet dinner provided by Sabor a Pasions and were entertained with a night of music and dancing. Music for the evening was provided by DJ GP of Palestine. Reception tables were decorated with crystal vases that held large floral arrangements that held a mixture of lapis deep red and golden gerbera daisies and greenery.

Wedding coordinator was Brenda Bailey of Montalba. The moments were captured by Samantha Woolverton of SW Photography in Palestine. Flowers were created by Rachel Brock of Tennessee Colony, Gaye Karriker and Judy Harris, both of Palestine.
