Laci Noel Delk and Randall Gage Hickman were married Oct. 6 at Elmwood Gardens. The date was chosen because it was the bride’s parents’ 33rd wedding anniversary. The double ring ceremony officiated by Ronnie Holcomb was held at the Gazebo in the Gardens surrounded by flowers. Scripture reading was 1st Corinthians 13.
Parents of the bride are Scott and Lana Delk of Palestine. The bride is the granddaughter of Reba and the late Billie Whitley also of Palestine and the late Doyle and Sue Delk of Groveton and the niece of Una and the late Earl Whitley of Elkhart and Mike and Renee Whitley of Palestine.
The groom is the son of John and Debra Estes and grandson of Randall Hickman and David and Joann Perry all of Palestine.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory couture two piece dress featuring an intricately embellished lace corset with flower and crystal detail. It was paired with a full hand tufted pick-up skirt made of silk faille. To finish the look a custom made crystal belt sat at her waist.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of purple flowers accented with peacock feathers and finished with her great grandmother’s brooch.
Lauren Gregory, sister of the bride and Danielle Medders, lifelong best friend served as matron of honors. Bridesmaids include Rainey Schaffer, Savannah Slate and Heather Sperry all lifelong friends of the bride and Shai Hickman, sister of the groom. Honorary bridesmaid was Sarah Holcomb, lifelong friend and junior bridesmaid was Jaci Weston.
Flower girls were Presley Estes and Graci Weston.
The matron of honors wore tea length purple chiffon one shoulder dresses and the bridesmaids wore tea length empire waist purple chiffon dresses and all carried calla lilies and peacock feathers tied with purple ribbon. The flower girls wore tulle fairy dresses.
Joseph Estes, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen included Derric Hardy and Jorden Hickman also brothers of the groom and Daniel Gregory, Chad Taylor and Cody Brooks, all friends of the groom.
Landon Estes was junior groomsman and Colt Medders was ring bearer.
Ushers were Randy Hardy, brother of the groom and Gary Wayne Turner, cousin of the groom. Also attending were Larami McAdams and Karson Pardue, cousins of the bride and Jose Cortez and Christy and Gabby Cortez, all friends of the bride and groom.
A reception dinner catered by the Ranch House was held after the ceremony.
The five-tier cake was provided by Sweet Bliss Custom Cakes.
Photography was by Jubilee Photography. Petal’s Florist provided the flowers, CMB Music Productions provided the music and DJ services and Andrea Brown helped coordinate.
Military friends that were deployed were honored with pictures displayed: John Welch, U.S. Army and Sarah Holcomb U.S. Navy. A memory door with the bride’s grandpa’s boots on each side was displayed in the reception area.
The bride is a graduate of Westwood High School and is in her senior year at Stephen F. Austin State University as a math major.
The groom also is a graduate of Westwood High School and is employed at MKS services.
The couple will take a wedding trip to Lake Tahoe this winter and will reside in Palestine.
