Then & Now

Our "Then" photo this week is a picture from a 4th July Parade in front of old GEM Theater and Brattons Drug Store. The child in the photo to the left is Philip Burett Ezell who was born in 1905. He appears to be about 8 years old in this picture. The picture is believed to be circa 1913.

Our now photo, taken on July 2, 2020, depicts the same buildings at 109 West Oak Street that are now home to the Star of Texas Antiques owned by Susan and Roddy Millichamp, Jacquelyn-Paige photography and New Creations Dance Studio.
