PALESTINE – The Ladycats finished the 2019 season with a 13-25 record, and the veteran squad will lose a good chunk of its core to graduation. Katie Litynesky, Ke'Ondra White, Raina Hanzik, Ka'zem Wood, Chynna Logan, and Shayla Arthur are all set for graduation in 2020.
FORNEY – For the first time in 13 years, the Palestine Wildcats are moving on to the area round of the playoffs.
GROESBECK – The Grapeland Sandies went into their bi-district round matchup against the Frost Polar Bears and showed why they were the overwhelming favorites.

GRAPELAND – Grapeland softball pitcher Cadie Belle Currie signed her letter of intent Wednesday to join St. Edward University's softball team next fall. The all-state softball player finally put pen to paper after months of being verbally committed to St. Edwards.
FORNEY – When head coach Lance Angel returned to Palestine in May his main goal was to restore a playoff tradition in the Wildcat community. Palestine reached that goal and added in a second-place finish in the dreaded “District of Doom.”
