RUSK – The Frankston Indians playoff journey came to an end Saturday in game three of their series against the Beckville Bearcats.
AUSTIN – Neches Lady Tiger Kacie Kimbrough brought home a third-place medal in the high jump at the UIL 1A state track championship in Austin this past weekend.
CUMBERLAND – The Cayuga Wildcats clinched their second consecutive bi-district title behind back -to-back wins over Big Sandy this past weekend.
KINGSLAND – Frankston Maidens golfer, Bandy Bizzell, qualified for the State Golf Tournament as a second-place medalist in the Region III Golf Tournament.
CUMBERLAND – An early seven-run lead gave the Cayuga Wildcats all the momentum they needed to defeat Big Sandy, 15-2, in game one of their bi-district round series.
ELKHART – The Elkhart Elks fell in game one Friday, 9-0, on their homefield after surrendering a six-run fifth inning to Cameron Yoe.
AUSTIN – Westwood Lady Panther Jaysa Coney brought home a pair of silver medals in the 100m and 200m races at the UIL state track meet Thursday.
RUSK – The Frankston Indians dropped game one of their bi-district round series against the Beckville Bearcats Wednesday, 13-7, behind an eight-run inning from Beckville.
AUSTIN – For Frankston's Abbie Ramsey and Brink Bizzell, this year's state track meet offers more than their final time representing Frankston on the field.

GRAND SALINE – The Frankston Maidens secured the bi-district championship Friday with a late-game 14-13 win over the Overton Lady Mustangs.
GRAPEVINE – Three Anderson County high school angler teams qualified to compete in the Texas High School Bass Association Angler of the Year tournament. The Angler of the Year tournament, sponsored by Academy Sports and Outdoors, will be held on June 19 at Grapevine Lake.
Five members of the Palestine Wildcats highlighted the District 16-4A All-District team, including head coach John Absalom who was voted coach of the year and Arturo Nieto who was voted the district's most valuable player.

PFLUGERVILLE – Neches's Kale Braaton, who competed in boys singles, along with girls doubles tandem Emily and Raegan Hill each brought home third-place medals at the 1A-Region IV tennis tournament in Pflugerville Tuesday.
COLLEGE STATION – Westwood Panther Sean Miller qualified for the UIL 3A State Tennis Tournament on Tuesday, by winning Regionals at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station.
CAYUGA – The Cayuga Wildcats end their regular season run as District 20-2A champions following their wins over the Trinidad Trojans.
BRYAN – Palestine's Monique Ybarra and Gage Concilio qualified for state Tuesday after capturing first and third place, respectively, at the regional tennis tournament.
PALESTINE – Frankston's Abbie Ramsey and Cayuga's Aerin Thompson are headed to the state meet following their performances at the 2A-Region III meet this past weekend.
LEAGUE CITY – The Neches Lady Tiger will have a pair of relay teams at the state meet after finishing as regional champions in the 4x200 and regional runner ups in the 4x400.
WACO – Westwood Lady Panther Jaysa Coney is headed to state after placing second in the 100, 200 and 400 meter races.
The Palestine little dribbler girls recently won 1st place at the Region Division Championship. Advancing them to Nationals, which is played the first week of June.
LAKE O' PINES – A pair of Cayuga angling teams are headed to state after they finished in the top 88 at the regional tournament this past weekend.
MADISONVILLE – The Frankston Indians had regional qualifiers in 10 different events following the area meet in Madisonville Thursday.
CROCKETT – Westwood Lady Panther Jaysa Coney went four-for-four in her qualifying meets at the area competition Wednesday in Crockett. Noah Cheatham, Chloe Petzold along with Westwood's relay team also secured a regional spot. Elkhart also had five regional qualifiers from their showings.
MADISONVILLE – The Palestine Wildcats track team are sending six representatives to regionals following their performance at the area track meet Wednesday.
FRANKSTON – The Cayuga Wildcats stands as District 20-2A's lone undefeated team after besting the Frankston Indians, 5-1, in Tuesday's district superfight.
Frankston nabbed the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over LaPoynor on Friday. The game was tied at four with Frankston batting in the top of the eighth when Caden Young induced Jace Benson to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
FORNEY – The Palestine Wildcats season came to an end Friday night on the field of City Bank Stadium in a 3-2 shootout loss against the Celina Bobcats.
Palestine Ladycat Izabel Simien was named Co-District 16-4A Most Valuable Player after helping lead her team to their fourth consecutive district title.
