Palestine senior Kevin Parish was awarded co-MVP for District 18-Class 4A for the 2014-15 boys basketball season. 

Parish was co-MVP with Mexia's senior Curk Harris. Palestine and Mexia played each other on March 3 in the regional quarterfinals with Parish and Harris putting on a strong offensive performance. Parish scored 31 points and Harris put up 38 points in that game.

Palestine had nine players make the District 18-Class 4A all-district team.

Senior Gee Clark, senior Vay Davis and senior Dakedrick McMorris all made first team all-district. 

Senior Kobe Brown, sophomore Forrester Polk and junior Keelan Yarbough all were selected to second team all-district.

Senior Cameron Barrett was a honorable mentions.

Parish and senior Jacob Nicholas were placed on academic first team.

Mexia's junior Tyrik Ray was named offensive MVP of the district.
